Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at age of 14. As well as BJJ classes as well, she was also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. In the age of 18, she made her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. Ladd later went on to beat three times in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were finished within the first minute. Then, she went to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen, and beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's record as an amateur was marred. Ladd took her match against Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen started her professional career in the year 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by the first round TKO. Invicta Fighting Championships 16: She won the following match against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen employed the strong techniques she learned from wrestling to take on McGill. She ended the fight with a an KO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in the weight of a "catchweight"(138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd did not make the weight. Aspen, however, beat Hoy with a TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her last bout with the company. She defeated Sijara Ebanks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina and then pounded her on the ground for a second-round TKO victory. Ladd remained in the lead, and won another victory over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the first round. The winner also got an extra bonus for her performance that evening. Her first major fight came in her next fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The two fighters put on a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and both fighters getting their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya fell in the 3rd round at UFC 7 at ESPN. As a replacement, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. It was a loss by majority decision.
