Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at age of 14. As well as BJJ classes as well, she was also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina and then pounded her on the ground for a second-round TKO victory. Ladd remained in the lead, and won another victory over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the first round. The winner also got an extra bonus for her performance that evening. Her first major fight came in her next fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The two fighters put on a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and both fighters getting their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya fell in the 3rd round at UFC 7 at ESPN. As a replacement, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. It was a loss by majority decision.
