Candice King is an American actress. She reached the top of Hollywood's ladder when she played Caroline Forbes, the lead character of The Vampire Diaries. Candice was a performer in the beginning before she became a renowned actor. In 2009 she released her debut album "It's Always the Innocent Ones in United States. For it she penned twelve out of the fourteen tracks in the album. While working, she also worked to develop her acting skills as well guest starring in two shows, including How I Met Your Mother and Greek. While her professional career was smoothly, a breakthrough didn't come to her until she was cast in the CW show The Vampire Diaries. In a matter of minutes, the show became her famous. Candice King was widely praised for brilliant acting and outstanding performance. The series ran for 171 episodes over eight seasons. The role she played on a regular basis was shown on The Originals, a spin-off in 2018 and Legacies, a 2021 series.
